The new features they added are interesting so I dont mind.When I miss some things I can always go back and play aow3. my main is dark elves and undead so i dont mind much.ģ)The unit sounds are em.well I wouldnt say non existant but yeah,it feels poor.They all sound the same.ĥ)The battles become more messy as the game flows and at some point you forget to keep track of all the buffs and debuffs.Ħ)The unit models are awesome though I feel they animations are like rushed and you dont enjoy the interactions.ħ)The most important I guess.There is.no story campaing :( It was like more focused on your race rather than your hero.In aow4 it seems its only focused on your tomes.I usually fight with summons and spells. You press auto and at some point it turns out like a yugioh meta in which the opponent just stares your heroes refreshing each other and killing everything in 1 round.Moreover,imagine if your heroes have summon abilities.When the battle ends you have more units than your opponent starting army.Summon astral reflections should not copy heroes.That my friend is only 1 of the broken combos and its pretty easy to achieve.Ģ)I feel the unit variety is not like aow2 or 3.In these 2,you could ''feel'' that you picked a race and use your racial army to conquer.

In this combo when you are in a battle you just start with 1 hero then at some point you have 9 of your own hero copies,all of them can refresh their abilities with weaver for free action aaand.with spur to action each of them refreshes move points. wonders to reduce my DOMS, I recommend it to anyone doing BBB. If you care about enviroment,visuals,a d&d story telling session then you will love it.Random events occur depending on your choices(like evil,good,what tomes you pick,what race you are etc.)The strategic map is cool,with provinces and many new features.Your main hero and the other heroes you recruit are crucial and they impact your game a lot.Your expansion actually depents on them.Negotiations and the world map feels more important than plain conquering with an army.ġ)Well.first of all.try doing Summon astral projections+weaver+spur to action with your hero and you will understand.The game is kidnda unbalanced.The above combo is so broken you can 1v18 any army with your hero.You can have 0 armies and play only with heroes. 4 weeks cycling and the 4 Later that day I would pull 675 off the floor.
